Nell Salzman is a news reporter with a specialty in immigration for the Chicago Tribune. She previously worked at KTNA radio in Talkeetna, Alaska, and Westword in Denver. Laura Rodríguez Presa is a bilingual journalist for the Chicago Tribune focusing on exposing the often untold stories of the Latino community. She worked as a multimedia reporter for Hoy, the Tribune’s Spanish-language newspaper. Jacqueline Stevens is a professor of Political Science, and the Founding Faculty Director of the Deportation Research Clinic at Northwestern University. Her research has been the basis of successful lawsuits challenging government misconduct.
